Transform!

One morning in 2012 I woke up with a great desire to create a blogspot. I am not a writer and I never really liked writing. However, I have so many thoughts rumbling in my head, so much emotions in my heart and so many memorable, life-changing experiences that I wish to share with everyone.

Seven years later, one evening while I was preparing to sleep I felt a sudden urge and intense desire to be a coach because I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. I have a compassionate heart. I hurt with the needy and the oppressed. I am angry with the government for not doing its primary task of providing the basic necessities of its people. I celebrate with people for their milestones.

I was exposed to life adversities at an early age through personal and organizational outreach activities. I knew that I am privileged and with that came certain responsibilities to our fellowmen that I must fulfill.

I desire to make a difference in the lives of the Filipino people through public service as my late father instilled in me the necessity of holding a public office to initiate and implement change. I will never forget what he told us, “Yes, I am able to serve our fellowmen as a civilian citizen, but I could only do and help so much. I have to join the system to change it.” However, a public office for me is not plausible as of this point in time.

I may not be able to change the world, but through coaching, I’ll be able to “make a difference one conversation at a time.”

I am neither a celebrity nor a political figure. I am just an ordinary Filipino lady who dares to make a difference.
